TOUR DESCRIPTION
Amboseli National Park is 392 km2 in size at the core of an 8,000 km2 ecosystem that spreads across the Kenya-Tanzania border. The park offers some of the best opportunities to see African wildlife and is home to many species, including African bush elephants, Cape buffaloes, impala, East African lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, Masai giraffes, plains zebras and blue wildebeest among other African animals. It is famous for being the best place in the world to get close to free-ranging elephants.
Tsavo National Park is one of the oldest and largest parks in Kenya. The park is divided into east and west sections. It is known for bird life and for its large mammal’s e.g. black rhino, Cape buffalo, elephant, leopard, hippo and Masai lion. There are also other smaller animals that can be spotted in the park, such as the bush baby, hartebeest, lesser kudu and Maasai giraffe.
Day 1: Mombasa/Diani- Tsavo East National Park.
Early Morning pick at 6:30 am from your respective hotel then drive to Tsavo East National Park, arriving in time for morning game drives with chance to Spot; Red Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes, Hippos, Giraffes, Gazelles, Waterbucks, Leopards, Zebras and different bird species, before checking in at the lodge as well for Lunch. Relax until 16:00hrs time afternoon game viewing until 18:00hrs. Dinner and overnight at Camp or Lodge.
Day 2: Tsavo East National Park – Amboseli National Park.
Early morning breakfast then proceed to Amboseli National Park. On arrival, make a game drive en route to the camp. Relax until 16:00 hrs time for the afternoon game viewing. This park is the home of Elephants, Wildebeest (Gnu), Buffalos, Gazelles, Lions, Cheetahs, monkey families and rare bird species. In the early evening, the clouds clear, exposing the snow –capped dome of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at Camp or Lodge.
Day 3: Amboseli National Park – Tsavo West National Park .
Early morning game drives before breakfast then depart to Tsavo West National Park. See the volcanic formations (Shetani Lava Flow) on the way to Mzima Springs where Hippos and Crocodiles are seen from the underwater hide. Check in at the lodge as well for lunch, relax until 16:00 hrs, time to visit the Rhino Sanctuary. Spot Elephants, Giraffes, the varied bird life of Tsavo West, and of course the Rhino. Have a view of the beautiful mountains. Dinner and overnight at Camp or Lodge.
Day 4: Tsavo West National Park – Mombasa/Diani.
Early morning game drives before breakfast. See the beautiful sceneries of Tsavo West National Park. Return to the lodge for breakfast then proceed for the last game drive en route to Voi for lunch; later proceed to Mombasa or Diani, arriving late afternoon at your respective hotel.
