TOUR DESCRIPTION

Tsavo National Park is one of the oldest and largest parks in Kenya. The park is divided into east and west sections. It is known for bird life and for its large mammal’s e.g. black rhino, Cape buffalo, elephant, leopard, hippo and Masai lion. There are also other smaller animals that can be spotted in the park, such as the bush baby, hartebeest, lesser kudu and Maasai giraffe.

Amboseli National Park offers some of the best opportunities to see African wildlife and is home to many species, including African bush elephants, Cape buffaloes, impala, East African lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, Masai giraffes, plains zebras and blue wildebeest among other African animals. It is famous for being the best place in the world to get close to free-ranging elephants.

The Maasai Mara National Reserve is globally famous for its exceptional population of lions, leopards and cheetahs, and the annual migration of zebra, Thomson’s gazelle, and wildebeest to and from the Serengeti every year, known as the Great Migration. All members of the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, African elephant, cape buffalo, and black rhinoceros) along with hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, and bat-eared foxes are found in the Maasai Mara. Hippopotami and crocodiles are found in large groups in the Mara and Talek rivers.

Lake Nakuru National Park is best known for its thousands, sometimes millions of flamingos nesting along the shores. The surface of the shallow lake is often hardly recognizable due to the continually shifting mass of pink. The park provides sanctuary for the black rhinos, southern white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffe, Waterbucks, East African lions, cheetahs and leopards.

Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake in Kenya, which lays North West of Nairobi. It is part of the Great Rift Valley. The lake, high cliffs and forests are home to spectacled weavers, red-billed firefinches, grey-backed fiscals, grey-capped warbler and many other interesting and colorful aerial creatures. Finally, Lake Naivasha is one of the primary drinking holes for buffalos, zebras, elands, impalas, waterbucks and other grazers, as well as a favorite place for hippos to cool themselves during the day.
