TOUR DESCRIPTION

Tsavo National Park is one of the oldest and largest parks in Kenya. The park is divided into east and west sections. It is known for bird life and for its large mammal’s e.g. black rhino, Cape buffalo, elephant, leopard, hippo and Maasai lion. There are also other smaller animals that can be spotted in the park, such as the bush baby, hartebeest, lesser kudu and Maasai giraffe.

Amboseli National Park offers some of the best opportunities to see African wildlife and is home to many species, including African bush elephants, Cape buffaloes, impala, East African lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, Maasai giraffes, plains zebras and blue wildebeest among other African animals. It is famous for being the best place in the world to get close to free-ranging elephants.

The Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary (SALTLICK) is a privately owned wildlife sanctuary in Kenya. It hosts cape buffalo, African bush elephant, African leopard, Maasai lion, Tanzanian cheetah, Maasai giraffe, zebra, hartebeest, impala, waterbuck, Thomson’s gazelle, lesser kudu, dik-dik, and other smaller animals, including a great diversity of birdlife.

Day 1: Mombasa/Diani- Tsavo East National Park.

Early Morning pick at 6:30 Am from your respective hotel then drive to Tsavo East National Park, arriving in time for morning game drives with chance to Spot; Red Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes, Hippos, Giraffes, Gazelles, Waterbucks, Leopards, Zebras and different bird species, before checking in at the lodge as well for Lunch. Relax until 16:00hrs time afternoon game viewing until 18:00hrs. Dinner and overnight at Camp or Lodge.

Day 2: Tsavo East National Park – Amboseli National Park.

Early morning breakfast then proceed to Amboseli National Park. On arrival, make a game drive en route to the camp. Relax until 16:00 hrs time for the afternoon game viewing. This park is the home of Elephants, Wildebeest (Gnu), Buffalos, Gazelles, Lions, Cheetahs, monkey families and rare bird species. In the early evening, the clouds clear, exposing the snow –capped dome of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at Camp or Lodge.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park – Tsavo West National Park .

Early morning game drives before breakfast then depart to Tsavo West National Park. See the volcanic formations (Shetani Lava Flow) on the way to Mzima Springs where Hippos and Crocodiles are seen from the underwater hide. Check in at the lodge as well for lunch, relax until 16:00hrs, time to visit the Rhino Sanctuary. Spot Elephants, Giraffes, the varied bird life of Tsavo West, and of course the Rhino. Have a view of the beautiful mountains. Dinner and overnight at Camp or Lodge.

Day 4: Tsavo West National Park – Voyager Ziwani.

Early morning game drive before breakfast, then depart for Voyager Ziwani arriving for lunch as well as check in at the Camp. Relax until 16:00hrs, time to go for escorted game walks with the experienced naturalist until 18:00 hrs time for dinner. After dinner go for night game drives to view grazing hippos and nocturnal game. Overnight at Voyager Ziwani Camp.

Day 5: Voyager Ziwani – Taita Hill Sanctuary (Saltlick).

Early morning breakfast then proceed with game drive en route to Taita Hills Wildlife sanctuary arriving at Sarova salt Lick Game Lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drives at this Sanctuary takes you to view Elephant, Buffalo, Gazelles and other kinds of wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Saltlick Lodge.

Day 6: Taita Hill Sanctuary (Saltlick)- Mombasa/Diani.

Morning game drives before returning back to the lodge for breakfast. Game drives en route to Bachuma Restaurant for lunch; later depart for Mombasa/Diani , arriving in the early evening.

  • Park Entrance Fees, Accommodations as per above itinerary, Transport, game drives and drinking water while on board our safari Van/Jeep.
